The results of the atmospheric electric field potential gradient measurements near the surface of the earth at two points of the North Caucasus (plain and mountainous area) are represented in this paper. The reduction factor is counted, the values of the correlation coefficients on two levels are given on the basis of simultaneous measurements of the potential gradient at two levels: on the ground and on the building roof. The reduction coefficient dependences of the measured field and weather conditions are determined.
