European Law Borrowings in Russian Legislation of Censorship

The article deals with the question about the law borrowings in Russian legislation of press and censorship in the period of the active rise of media ﬁeld in Russian Empire. The author comes to the conclusion that the bases of press law and further transformations was European censorship legislation.
