National Specific Means of theImperative Category in the English Language

The article is devoted to the study ofthenational specific means of the imperative category expression in the English language. It gives the definition of such notions as national specifics, social norms and stereotypes of speech behavior which define the strucure of the imperative discourse. The author provides her own systematic analysis of the national specifics of the imperative discourse based on the writings of the modern English and American writers.
