Ethnocultural Dynamics in the Urbanistic Environment

The problem is put and solved: whether the cultural originality of ethnos changes in the course of mastering of a new urban area in megalopolis scales? It is shown that traditional ethnic values are exposed to corrosion as a result of inﬂuence of speciﬁc characteristics of a city way of life. However the city culture thanks to the general for all citizens norms and values is capable to bring ethnos to the new level of civilization development connected with overcoming of a gap between ethnic “image for itself” and “image for others”.
