Glimpses of History of Local Authority`s Attitude to Catholic Communities in Don and Kuban Regions (1920 –1940s)
The author of this article investigates the problem of the authority’s attitude to catholic communities in Don and Kuban Regions during the interwar (1920 –1940). Development of contacts between state authorities and Catholic church 20–30s underwent certain changes. Taking into account that dynamics, the author proposes to divide the interwar period in relations between the state authorities into two stages for more effective investigation of the problem under consideration. The first stage is characterized by introduction and development of the New Economic Policy (NEP). History of the second stage is based on approval of planned economics. This, the author of this article proposes to use new periodization in the history of relations of state and catholic structures in Nizhny Don and Kuban Regions.
