The article presents the analysis of inter-ethnic relations in the Republic of Kalmykia. The author reveals main reasons for inter-ethnic tension and points out the step, taken in the republic to harmonize inter-ethnic relations. The development of inter-ethnic relations in the Republic of Kalmykia in future is forecasted on the basis of this information.
