In connection with the entry into force of the new edition of the nomenclature of scientific specialties, the journal is included in the List of peer-reviewed scientific publications in which the main scientific results of dissertations for the degree of Candidate of Sciences, for the degree of Doctor of Sciences, in the following scientific specialties should be published: 5.6.1. Th? article is devoted to the study of the genres of “yellow” press the beginning of the 21st century. The a com- prehensive analysis of the Russian “yellow” press for 2012– 2013 (“Life”, “Express Gazeta”, “Yellow” newspaper, “Komsomolskaya Pravda”, “AIDS-info”, etc.) is conducted on the basis of which are given some of the traditional genres, in comparison with similar genres in the “yellow” press, as well as highlighting those genres, which are peculiar only to this type of press.
