The article deals with the development of notions “associatively connected concepts” and “anticoncept”, which are important for the study of conceptualization mechanisms in our cognition. In this connection the author focuses on the representation of the concept “great” and anticoncept “little” in the system of the English language and individual style of G. Byron.
