Historical Myth and Ethnic Confl ict: Theory, Methodology, Technology Design
The article examines the theoretical and methodological aspects of historical myths construction. Therefore
highlights the main steps of a theoretical understanding of the social categories of myth and social myth. The concept of
historical myth is formulated by the author of the article. Particular attention is paid to the historical myth markers. The
methodological possibilities of the constructivist paradigm are devoted in the study of historical myths. Special attention
is given to the technology of historical myths construction, relationships between mythologized history and ethnic confl ict.
