In connection with the entry into force of the new edition of the nomenclature of scientific specialties, the journal is included in the List of peer-reviewed scientific publications in which the main scientific results of dissertations for the degree of Candidate of Sciences, for the degree of Doctor of Sciences, in the following scientific specialties should be published: 5.6.1. The article is devoted to the “idea of unique science,” and the question of whether to combine different areas
of research on the subject. This paper presents two points of view on this question. First – the point of Richard Rorty,
who opposes the union of science and the second – the point of V. A. Lektorskiy, who proposes the idea of unique
informative – research area.
