The Protest Potential of Students of South Russia
The article presents the results of a sociological study of social and political attitudes of students of South Russia
(Rostov-on-Don and Stavropol). The author investigated the protest potential and analyzed the different variables: electoral
preferences, sexual identity, social class, place of residence which affect the estimate of likelihood of mass protest, the
protest potential, the choice of the form of participation in the protests.
