The Protest Potential of Students of South Russia

In connection with the entry into force of the new edition of the nomenclature of scientific specialties, the journal is included in the List of peer-reviewed scientific publications in which the main scientific results of dissertations for the degree of Candidate of Sciences, for the degree of Doctor of Sciences, in the following scientific specialties should be published: 5.6.1. The Protest Potential of Students of South Russia

The article presents the results of a sociological study of social and political attitudes of students of South Russia
(Rostov-on-Don and Stavropol). The author investigated the protest potential and analyzed the different variables: electoral
preferences, sexual identity, social class, place of residence which affect the estimate of likelihood of mass protest, the
protest potential, the choice of the form of participation in the protests.
