And Longer Century Lasts a Day... (Part 2)
Purpose: The purpose of this article is philosophical-methodological discussion of the problems that call into question the adoption of modern quantum theory and geometrodynamics as full descriptions of physical reality.
Methods: The research is based on methods of axiomatic quantum fi eld theory, General relativity and historical philosophical concepts about the relation between thinking and being.
Results: It is shown that geometrical quantum fi elds are essentially nonlocal object, which integral structure cannot be reproduced in the fi nal set of local measurements. This conclusion is confi rmed by the axiomatic formalism of quantum fi eld theory, and ideology of the General theory of relativity, and modern research of the properties of physical vacuum. That’s why two possible methodological approaches are considered. Any experiment produced in the vicinity of a local observer, must be synthesized with the theoretical reconstruction of the events in the rest of the Universe. That means that the methodology of the measurements is determined by the theoretical reconstruction of unavailable. The second approach is the hypothesis of the existence of a non-local observer, recording information about the physical processes on their internal structures.
Discussion: The question of the possible existence of non-local observer, in other words, “Global mind” is a philosophical rejection, fi xed throughout the history of the development of classical science and its success in these local experiments. Meanwhile, in the philosophical tradition, including scientists, materialists, the Spinoza concept is developed which means the identity of thought and being, that thinking is an attribute, a necessary condition for the existence of the material world. This approach can be methodological basis of the research in nature’s creative ability to self-organization.
