Postnonclassical Rationality and Neoclassical Model for Social and Humanıtarıan Research

The cultural and epistemological context of postnonclassical turn in social and humanitarian cognition and emergence of critical realist paradigm in social and human sciences is revealed in the article. The peculiarities of classical, nonclassical, neoclassical and postmodern rationality are also described. The article presents specifi city of the neoclassical model for social and humanitarian studies based on a critical, realist and syncretic style of scientifi c thinking that criticizes epistemological foundations of the postmodern cognitive model. The substantive and methodological aspects of the constructive realism principle as the basic principle of the neoclassical model in social and humanitarian studies are also considered in the article.
