Historical Bases And Political Aspects of a Civilization Regionalism
Еhe historical bases and political aspects of a civilization regionalism are considered. Lack of common fi lling of the category “civilization” and the general basis of allocation of certain communities for all cases in a civilization is defi ned. It is noted that the only universal criterion of allocation of civilization communities is the consciousness of carriers of civilization identity.
Political contexts the regionalist movements are revealed. Is located the need of use of social constructivism as basic methodology of the analysis of a civilization regionalism and its possible historical bases.
Is carried out the analysis of formation of the concept of “the Ukrainian regional civilization” realized through a historical distancing from history of Russia and the designed regulations on special mentality and historically created traits of character of Ukrainians which became dominating for the Ukrainian people and are markers of its separate civilization identity.
Options of historical justifi cation of a concept “the Caucasian civilization” are allocated, fi rst of which is based on ideas of existence of the special historical mentality of the people occupying the Caucasus created during the long historical period, and the second is created on the basis of a negativization of a role of Russia in the history of the Caucasus.
Are defi ned possible civilization contexts of realization of regional nationalism. In particular, they are shown in identity formation of “the Finno-Ugric world”, the Arctic (circumpolar) civilization, “the Adyghe civilization”, “the Bolgaro-Chuvash civilization”, “civilizations of the people Sakha” which, as well as projects of a civilization regionalism, are classical constructs.
The impossibility of absolutization of constructivism locates in consideration of the historical bases of a civilization
regionalism and nationalism. Is offered the use of the theory of phenomenological constructivism for overcoming of
contradictions between essentialist and constructivist approaches in researches of civilization identity.
