Specifi cs of the Power in Personality Space: Post-Soviet Period

The article investigates the peculiarities of social, interpersonal, intrapersonal dimensions of the personal space in the context of socio-cultural situation in the post-Soviet Russian society.
The research objective is to determine the specifi cs of power in the personality space of the post-Soviet period Russian society. The power specifi city in the personality space of the post-Soviet period Russian society is revealed through the social-philosophical analysis of the features of social, interpersonal, intrapersonal dimensions of the personality space in the context of socio-cultural situation in Russian society of a specifi ed period.
Research methods. The study is based on general scientifi c principles of the systematicity, determinism, completeness, consistency, compliance, complementarity, verifi cation. The application of these principles has provided scientifi city and reliability of the achived results.
Results. The specifi city of power in the personality space of the Russian society of this period is revealed. It is indicated that in a greater degree the specifi city of exercise of power in the personality space was predetermined by socio-political features of the situation of that period, as well as by its direct consequence – perestroika and the following reorganization of the society. The conclusion about the features of social, interpersonal, intrapersonal dimensions of the personality space in the context of socio-cultural situation in contemporary Russian society is made.
It is determined that the social dimension of the personality space in modern Russian society is characterized by the formation of such social expectations in the “person – society – person” system as observance of rights and freedoms of the individual, safety, security through the introduction of value system, the basic elements of which are the values of “freedom”, “private property”, “private space”, “independence”, that allows the authorities to achieve their
goals through the formation of an image of conformal behavior acclaimed by the authorities/society – the achievement of personal well-being associated with social success, – formed by a pattern of the life of millionaires.
It is proved that the interpersonal dimension of the personality space in the contemporary Russian society is characterized by the presence in the “personality – personality” system of relationship of tolerance, social order, refl exivity and transitivity.
It is revealed that the intrapersonal dimension of the personality space in modern Russian society is determined by such an archetype as Sage (power, power elites) – Wanderer (personality).
