(Southern Federal University)

The article contains an attempt of the system analysis of creativity as a factor of social development of the Russian society. On the basis of an extensive interpretation of sociological data it is concluded that the subject of social life is
gradually becoming creative class, which is characterized by orientation on the connection of personal self-realization and service to society. The creative class can contribute to the development of the country, something that is inevitable
in the form of socio-cultural modernization, to the improvement of all aspects of social life and their reduction to the condition of inclusion in today’s global community, it should be noted the fact that the basis of the influence of the
creative class and other social groups in the process of modernization, there are two essential circumstances. First, representatives of the creative class, in contrast to the situation 90 years, not willing to settle for the role of negative social media innovation. Secondly, they would like to actually participate in the modernization, of course, the decisive role of the state, while important should be the recognition of their opinions and so they really infl uenced the decisionmaking on national priorities. The position of the author is that the structure of the creative class as their development and accumulation of social prestige will lead to real social cohesion and legitimation of the system of social relations, to the fact that ideas about “good” and “bad”, causing a conflict of opinion in Russian society, will be based on social justice, to proceed from self-assessment of social status in relation to the independent and socially active segments of the population.
