The Social Orientation of Technology: Model Approach

The basic concepts and integration models procedure including mechanisms of orientation of the original technology in the domain of the social environment are described. As a methodological support of a model approach to the study we use the theory of conceptual design of system invariants.
The proposed model approach implements a multi-model process. In particular, the process provides the possibility of describing the invariant as original model of the technology. The second original model allows to formalize requirements of socialization of the technology. Finally, the third model reflects the results of the implementation of integration procedures system of the models initiating synergetic social orientation. As a result, with the ternary model the researcher gets the fundamental possibility of analysis and assessment of emergent properties of the new sociotechnological system as a result of the social orientation of the original technology.
