The article on a variety of material deals with the issues of multilateral relations of the Dagestani population with the peoples and countries of the Caucasus, North Caucasus, southern Russia and Western Asia during the ancient period.
In the Eneolithic, more clearly identifies the trend in the previous era of economic and ethno-cultural demarcation of the various regions of the Caucasus. At the turn of IV-III Millennium. BC, early bronze century, Dagestan was in the relations of different civilizations is increasing. The fi rst Millennium BC is one of the busiest periods of the history of Dagestan. At this time, the voltage drops, and the collision of local tribes with the Iranian-speaking nomads, and the participation of ancestors of the peoples of Dagestan in the campaigns of Scythians in near Asia.
