From History of the Creation of French Railway Network of High-Speed Electric Trains TGV
This scientific article is devoted to the research of the main historical events, which led to the construction of railway network of high-speed trains TGV in France. In 1981 the first section of high-speed TGV line was put into service between Paris and Lyon. Longstanding history of research, inventions and train testing had preceded the creation of the high-speed railway network.
The relevance of this article is conditioned by the necessity for studying French history of railway transport, because it allows to understand the role of railways and to make the right and informed decisions on their development, both in France and in other countries, transferring experience and knowledges. Certain importance and insufficient scientific status of the problem defi ne the scientifi c newness of this article.
The purpose of the article is the research of the history of creation of French railway network of high-speed electric trains TGV. The object of the research is French railway network of high-speed electric trains TGV. The subject of the research is particularities of the construction of railway transport in France.
In the course of doing the scientifi c article historical method, deduction, comparative analysis, scientific observation, systematization, studying and summarizing of information were used.
The research shows that a great work of specialists in the sphere of railway construction was done for creating the comfortable, safe and high-speed railway network of the electric trains TGV. The achieved world records illustrate the success of the high-speed railway transport of France.
