The article offers an analysis of contemporary Russian reality from the positions of the spiritual crisis that has engulfed society since the change of socio-political order and the transition to a post-Soviet regime. Spiritual crisis from the point of view of the theory of social entropy is the source of the filling and the escalation of entropy processes in the space of social reality. For Russia the spiritual crisis associated primarily with a loss of spirituality as the basic Foundation of the civilizational code of the Russian state and mentality of Russian citizens. From these positions, the static nature of the spiritual crisis in Russia is considered as an indicator of accumulation of entropy and potential escalation risks in the entropy space of the Russian reality in all its levels and in all spheres of life.
The author comes to the conclusion that socio-cultural split, to the time of the Soviet collapse have already manifested themselves strongly enough, was the most terrible reality of post-Soviet Russia, and to this day this situation is to not fully overcome, but this split has its roots not only in the ideological and value conflicts, in the very system of social order established on the format extremely unfair, divided the country is not only traditionalists and modernists, collectivists and individualists, but also the rich and the poor, promising and unpromising, optimists and pessimists, hoping for a brighter future and the desperate. This list could continue indefi nitely, but it is important for us to understand that he fills the entropy content of the social reality in which lives the modern Russian society spiritually degrading and confi dently moving to its social and cultural collapse.
