Hashtag as a Means of Self-Presentation of Public Person in the Social Network "Instagram"

The article examines the features of the self-presentation of public figures in the social network "Instagram". Linguistic means of their positive self-presentation along with nicknames are hashtags. The analysis shows, first, the quantitative preponderance of the "female" web pages over the "male" ones, and secondly, the significant predominance of information hashtags over the impelling or interrogative, and thirdly, the thematic disequilibrium of information. The form of the information hashtag allows the public person to "report" the relevant information, and therefore, to promote his account in the social network and do self-promotion.
