Cultural Ecology: Modern Aspects of the Study of Ethnic Culture

The article deals with the problem of studying the ethnos and its modern existence when trying to consider from the standpoint of cultural ecology, as an interdisciplinary complex of the contemporary model of ethnic culture. The aim of the work is to follow the historical and cultural concepts of the development of the ethnos in the context of the ideas of cultural ecology. As the basic, the work of leading experts in the field of culture, history, ethnology and ethnography is considered.
The current situation states the most complex and acute conflicts, which are based on ethnicity. There are many reasons for the aggravation of interethnic conflict: it is the difference between the cultural and religious origins, the property and financial
gap, and economic and political disagreements. Also often there is an opinion about the threat of extinction and impossibility of the revival of traditional culture. This is not the whole complex of issues that affects the existence of ethnic culture and its carriers.
During the research, emphasis was placed on the key features of the development of the model for the existence of ethnicity and ethnic culture, and also identified problems for further research.
