The article is devoted to the phenomenon of professional culture, the analysis of conceptualization of its philosophical and cultural foundations. At the heart of the author's vision of the problem is the proposition, according to which, in the

Cultural tradition is one of the strongest factors of human and social life, it has an impact on the behavior of human groups in all socially important areas, including tied to professional practices. domestic and foreign researchers considering the concept of "professional culture" in the prospect of disciplinary analysis of this phenomenon.
The specificity, role and meaning of the concept "professional culture" in relation to the basic concept "culture" is analyzed. Approved by the prospect of a combination of philosophical and cultural theoretical approaches to study the practical
status of the professional culture in contemporary Russia. It is concluded that the specificity of the studied phenomenon, on the one hand, contains elements of a narrow corporate culture of industrial relations of specialists, and on the other hand, the characteristics of behavior models, professional communication and value guidelines characteristic of the common cultural tradition and civilizational standards prevail.
