A Role of the Kabardino-Balkarian Research Institution in Development of Problems of Ethnogenesis of Adyghe in the 40–60s years of the 20th Century

During the post-war period in studying of extremely difficult questions of formation and development of ethnic communities in domestic science special attention was paid to the Caucasian avtokhtona as they played an essential role in development of humanity.
On pages of the leading magazines and collections scientific articles on archeology, anthropology, ethnography, linguistics of the people of the Caucasus were published. New archaeological materials and researches formed reliable source study base for scientific publicizing of the difficult cultural and historical processes happening in the North Caucasus in an extreme antiquity.
The extending case of sources allowed to take the first steps in reconstruction of ethnogenesis of indigenous people of the North Caucasus.
For reconstruction of the separate moments of ethnogenesis by the staff of research institution the huge work which formed the basis of many scientific developments, created istochnikovy base and provided profound archaeological studying of the North Caucasus was done. It was the "star" period in the history of the North Caucasian archeology, both in organizational, and in the
research plan.
The powerful contribution to archaeological studying of Kabarda was made by professor E.I. Krupnov who within several years managed in combination the sector of archeology of the Kabardian institute of history, philology and economy and carried out hard field works in the republic. Having generalized the studied material, he noted that the carried-out field researches on the place and cameral processing of the saved-up material gave the chance to draw the major conclusions which are of great importance for studying of ancient history of all North Caucasus and to come to conclusion about autochthony of the present different races
population of the Caucasus.
