There is a characteristic of Yu. A. Zhdanov – a famous scientist, chemist, philosopher and culturologist, organizer of science and education in the South of Russia.
His role as an expert of the CPSU Central Committee, the rector of one of the leading institutions of the country - the Rostov State University, in the opening of the Kalmyk State University is revealed. The contribution of Yu. A. Zhdanov in the development of higher education and science of the Republic of Kalmykia is noted.
