Traditional Family Values in the Era of Globalization
The article is devoted to the analysis of the influence of the globalization processes dominating in the modern world upon the traditional family values and of the specific nature of the transformation of a such important for all epochs social institution as a family.
The author pay a special attention to the strengthening of individualism and rationalism which is typical for the modern world in general and for the Russian society in particular and to the wide sirculation of such phenomena as extra-matrimonial cohabitation, surrogate maternity, interruption of pregnancy by having an abortion, living together of unisexual couples and so on.
