Mythological and Religious Views in the System of Ethnic Culture of the Chechens

The article analyzes mythical, pagan, Christian ideas and Islamic values that form the basis of the ethnic culture of the Chechen people. The peculiarities of the world outlook of the Chechens are highlighted as a key parameter of the spiritual culture of an ethnos and a complex syncretic in many respects and contradictory phenomenon. The historical and sociocultural development of the Chechen ethnos is traced, as a result of which its own vision of the world, attitude towards it, a moral and spiritual scale of values, representing it in the modern world, is developed.
