Oligarchy in the Global Space of Culture

The article is devoted to the global oligarchy, analysis of its specifi cs and goals in the global political and socio-economic space of world culture. In the modern world, in the context of globalization and post-industrial transformation of capitalism, the world oligarchy has taken on a global appearance. The world oligarchy and global oligarchy are not identical. The world oligarchy as other forms of oligarchy were formed before the global oligarchy. The global oligarchy is a complex supranational institution of governance and power, which includes the financial, commercial, military and economic oligarchy, secret services and propaganda agencies, as well as the governments of individual States controlled by it. As a result, the goals of the global oligarchy: the formation of an oligarchic world government, the integration of financial flows in different countries into a single global oligarchic capital, total control over the world, the spread of the ideology of superiority over other peoples, the economic exploitation of the world's population, irrational over-consumption of the planet's resources in conditions of scarcity. Thus, the geopolitical and socioeconomic goals of the global oligarchy are destructive and lead to the dysfunction of the world economy, the oblivion of humanistic values, and the aggravation of the problem of socio-economic inequality.
