Cultural and Cognitive Determinants of Economic Activity: Towards a Problem Formulation Key
The application of the tools of cognitive culture to economic activity and to the economic science of Russia is relevant in the light of its attempts to master a method of production that is fundamentally new for the country – a market and socially oriented economy, the strategy of which includes liberal-democratic ideas and cultural innovations. The author chose the methodology of a nonnosological approach to cognitive culture and set the task of discovering unexplored features of economic culture, clarifying the cultural and cognitive determinants of economic activity.
Of the three levels of economic culture – axiological, cognitive and symbolic, the author of the study considers the cognitive level to be significant. To clarify the content of the cognitive level of economic culture, a useful tool, according to the author, is the concept of cultural capital of economic entities. not mentioned, or insufficiently researched.
The article attempts to comprehend the regional specifics of cognitive culture and its impact on the financial and economic development of the North Caucasus and Dagestan, which is important for the specific historical development of economic culture in general.
Summing up the general results of reasoning about the cultural and cognitive determinants of economic activity, the author concludes that the boundaries of economic epistemology and epistemology are insufficient to reveal deep economic and economic relations. Therefore, the designation of some non-nosiological metrics of economic cognition is justified. In the perspective of the problematic, a deeper analysis of the meaningful meanings of economic culture, its place in the general and cognitive culture of a person is necessary. The methodological attitude towards understanding the main typologies of regional models of subjects of economic culture, as well as the comparative characteristics of the Western, Russian and regional matrices of "economic man" is significant.
