In the circle of linguistic and cultural types, modern linguists distinguish communicative types that are formed in the minds of linguocultural speakers based on the behavioral characteristics of the typed subjects. In relation to the “boss”
type, identified on the basis of the analysis of the materials of the social networks VKontakte, Facebook and Picaboo (January–February 2022 contexts), it is advisable to talk about the linguocommunicative type as a set of behavioral characteristics of the subject, coupled with the linguistic specifics of their embodiment. The latter is determined by the peculiarities of the functioning of the nomination of the same name in the text, including the grammatical semantics of case forms and the combined preferences of the choice of the environment of the word boss in specific texts. The emphasis on the communicative behavior of the boss arises due to the predominance of sentences with mandatory indication of the nature of the actions of the boss, among which references to the peculiarities of his contact with subordinates take the first place. The attributive position, which may indicate constant personality traits, is more often unclaimed.
The material shows the presence of a dual linguocommunicative type: 1) the ideal boss as a model personality combining the ability to effectively manage the labor process, organize subordinates, achieve results with the ability to informal
leadership and access beyond purely industrial relations into the sphere of humanization; 2) the boss as a reality, for the most part far from ideal: a rigid and authoritarian personality, intellectually not always responding to his status,
ambitious and prone to inflated self-esteem. In both cases, there is an idea of the boss as a participant in hierarchical service relations, having direct subordinates.
