Conceptual Constructions of E.A. Sheudzhen and Their Presentation in Scientifi c Periodicals (in the Memory of the Caucasus Studies Researcher)

The article is devoted to the study of the main historical and historiographic researches of Professor E.A. Sheudzhen, published in scientifi c periodicals. In the analyzed works, E.A. Sheudzhen raises the most pressing problems of the evelopment of modern Caucasian studies and historical knowledge in general, analyzes the possibilities of applying the methodological approaches of foreign authors in research on the history of the North Caucasus. The subject of the author's study was the theory of the frontier, the philosophical foundations of historical science, the problems of studying oral history and preserving historical memory, etc.
Emilia Ayubovna in her works calls for constant historiographic and methodological refl ection, which is a necessary factor in the growth of both Caucasian studies and Russian historical science.
