Industrialization and its Features in Kabardino-Balkaria
In an amazingly short period of time, the USSR caught up with the developed countries in terms of the pace of industrialization. Industrialization was carried out in a multinational country, which included peoples who stood at various stages of socioeconomic development. The Communist Party and the Soviet government consistently implemented a policy of helping the national outlying areas in order to equalize their levels of economic and cultural development. In this regard, it was planned to carry out industrialization in the national regions at a faster pace. The article deals with the problem of industrialization in Kabardino-Balkaria, highlights its characteristic features, notes the costs and miscalculations.
