Multidimensionality of Time in the Chronotope of the City for Russians "Third Age"
One of the aspects of the complex structure of life in modern cities is that being at any point in space is not limited to a single temporal coordinate, but involves a whole set of temporal dimensions. The purpose of the article is to identify the multidimensionality of time within the urban chronotope based on an analysis of the practices of developing open public spaces by Russians of the “third age”.
We study the range of possible temporal dimensions that characterize the stay in a particular place in the urban space, and then illustrate the multiplicity of these dimensions based on the method of observation and analysis of time diaries of citizens of the "third age".
Time in the chronotope of the city is represented by several dimensions. The multidimensionality of time in the city chronotope enables citizens of the “third age” to build a more harmonious strategy for their life behavior.
