The purpose of the article is to analyze the regionalisms refl ecting socio-cultural and historical-economic features of the Republic of Kalmykia, their representation in lexicographic sources of the Russian language and the National Corpus of the Russian
Language, the most important resource containing information on the number of occurrences, frequency of use of a language unit in diff erent epochs, the date of its first mention, genre and gender of the texts in which it is used, etc.
Methods: auditory; lexico-semantic, morphological, syntactic, with the help of which we studied the features of the use of each of the selected units in the speech context, also a comparative analysis, with the help of which we studied the display of the lexemes in question in the explanatory, etymological dictionaries of the Russian language and in the National Corpus of the Russian language.
Results: based on the active use of the words Sakman, sakmanit, Sakman/schik/schitsa, dot, koshara in the oral and written speech of residents of the Republic of Kalmykia of different social groups, the low frequency of their use in Russian speech practice, according to the National Corpus of the Russian language, they can be attributed to regionalism. This is evidenced by our analysis of
lexicographic sources of the Russian language. The data obtained can be used in the compilation of dictionaries of a new generation.
