Translingual Processes in Ch. Aytmatov’s Individual Author’s Worldview

This work examines the features of the creative processing and interpretation of facts, events, cultural values of Kyrgyz reality by the mental and linguistic consciousness of Ch. T. Aitmatov, as a result of which a unique individual author’s picture of the writer’s world is created. By applying the translingual approach, the following are determined: 1) ways of transmitting the Kyrgyz worldview through the Russian language; 2) features of lexical transformation in the process of creating individual author’s fi gurative expressions; 3) the role of quasi-symbols in the process of interlingual translation of culturally marked meanings contained in
phraseological units.
The author comes to the conclusion that the interaction of diff erent languages and cultures, forming a synergistic eff ect in the creative consciousness of the writer, gives his artistic picture of the world stereoscopicity, creates a new worldview and colorfulness.
