Features of Accounting and Organization of Grain Crops in the Nalchik District in the 80–90s of the 19th Century
The specifi cs of the activities of government authorities in organizing and recording the production of grain crops in the Nalchik district in the 80–90s. 19th century are explored. The hierarchy of government bodies responsible for controlling the production of agricultural products is considered, the range of issues included in the process of accounting and organizing the production of these products is outlined, the features of their sales are studied, and the organization of paperwork for this activity is analyzed.
A conclusion is drawn about the structure of the power vertical responsible for controlling the production of agricultural grain products, which included such authorities as: District Quartermaster Department, Terek Regional Board, Nalchik District Authorities, heads of district sections, elders of district villages. The provision of information by local authorities on the production of grain crops several times a year refl ected the process of organizing and the course of the agricultural annual cycle in the settlements of the Nalchik District.
