The Ambivalence of the Meaning of Life Refl ection: Russian Context

The problem of independent life meaning choice, taking into account the Russian context is acutely relevant.
The confl ict ontology and uncertainty of life process confront self-realization and humanistic values. The author refutes pragmatic version of the meaning of life refl ection. It analyzes the contributions of synergetic methodology existential
essence of the conclusions of which is to establish the infl uence of the intensity of purpose-attractor to achieve the goal.
Great goal mobilizes the activity of the individual in conjugation with value-target plants. Therefore, it is necessary to substantiate quality life program with universal humanitarian sense.
The analysis of the problem of the meaning of life through the prism of everyday perception is accompanied with the theory of resonant interactions. Historic-philosophical approach allocates a Confucian formula (“love a family”, “love
people”, “love all creatures”) and the ancient “doctrine of the Middle” indicating a measure in everything. The author analyzes the negatives of market relations of modernity, which made changes in life strategies. The system of primitive
values and the installation: “it is favorable to sell himself to the market” or “lease itself” dominates. The resulting conclusion is the ambivalence of the meaning of life guidance. On the one hand, the life-purpose refl ection based on
some implementation in life itself, on the other, there is going beyond the given circumstances in the sphere of the transcendent with the absolute truth, goodness and beauty. The passive spiritual immersion is complemented by the energy
of activity. The projection of the ideals of truth, goodness and beauty should be a guide for fi nding the meaning of life.
