The Problem of the Formation of Intelligence in Higher Education


The article addresses the problem of the formation of intelligence in high school among students. The main goal of the education system should be diversified development of personality of a specialist with higher professional education
with intelligence, high culture, activity, and patriotism. The author considers the development of intelligence identity in high school on the basis of humanization and humanitarization of education. The study clearly delineated the concept
of “intellectuals” and “intelligence, the characteristic qualities of intelligence, comparative analysis of education and intelligence, the main trends and pedagogical tools that infl uence the formation of intelligence in high school. The author focuses on the unity of education and upbringing that is the most dynamic factor in the personality and the formation of intelligent qualities in young people.
