The Role of Philosophy and Historical-Philosophical Knowledge in Solving Cognitive Problems

The article considers some actual problems of the modern Russian education and continues the discussion about the place of philosophy in science and educational space. Justifying value of philosophy, the author analyzes a question of correlation between philosophy and cognitive sciences. The analyses of cognitive questions cause setting of philosophical questions of the general character. At the same time not only methodological function of philosophy, but also value of the philosophical ideas for the decision of the application-oriented tasks arising in separate cognitive
disciplines, in particular, in an artifi cial intelligence reveals. It is well noticeable on the example of development in the fi eld of an artifi cial intelligence and, in particular, simulation of the trained intellectual systems in which a key problem
is the problem of the inductive output. The article proves the heuristic potential of historico-philosophical knowledge. In particular, the author shows that Kant’s apriorizm makes a philosophical basis for the modern theories of machine training.
Any access to the phenomena of the world happens by means of creation of models, approximations and specifi cations.
Thus, consideration of quite specifi c problems in the fi eld of machine training is related to the general questions of philosophy of consciousness, gnoseology, logic, methodology, etc.
