Kabardino-Balkar Autonomous Region within the North Caucasus Region (1924–1936)

The article deals with the issues of the Kabardino-Balkar Autonomous region joining the North Caucasus region in 1924-1936. the Subject of the research is the issues of administrative-territorial reorganization in the region in the specified period. It was a time when the district centers of mountainous and districts. steel., Pyatigorsk, St. Cool. Prigibskiy then the village was renamed in may. The period when the Presidium of the CEC KBAO approved the boundaries of the districts of the region. On the basis of archival materials it is concluded that no vital issue in the field of administrative and territorial reconstruction was not solved without
the participation of the North Caucasus region. All decisions that were submitted for discussion by the Kabardino-Balkar regional Executive Committee had to be coordinated with the North Caucasus regional Executive Committee.
The North Caucasus region as a whole played a positive role in the formation and strengthening of the system of Soviet authorities in the Kabardino-Balkar Autonomous region.
