Stereotyping of Texts of Modern Mass Literature

(Southern Federal University)

The language of the texts of mass literature reflects the modern cultural and speech situation and at the same time forms the reader's linguistic taste. Speaking about the stereotyping of mass literature, it is traditionally possible to note the binary nature
of this process. On the one hand, stereotyping presupposes the repeatability of typical images, models and linguistic units, on the other hand, stereotyping simplifies the communication process, performs contact-establishing and socio-cultural functions.
The purpose of the article is to identify stereotypes common in the texts of mass literature as a marker of their stereotyping.
The relevance of the work done is determined not only by the relevance of the problem itself in modern linguistics, but also by the process of stereotyping the language of mass literature, in the texts of which stable combinations of words, stereotypical expressions and images, the use of serial structures are increasingly found.
The source of the language material was the works of modern writers – E. Wilmont, N. Nesterova and Yu. Shilova.
The scientific novelty of the article lies in the analysis of linguistic units (speech stamp and cliches) and extra-linguistic units (speech-thinking everyday stereotypes), which have caused the banality, stereotyping of mass literature texts. In connection with this goal, the descriptive method was used in the work, as well as the method of distributive analysis and the method of semantic identification of the studied units.
