To the History of Scientifi c Tandem: A.P. Pronstein and A.V. Lubsky on Theoretical and Methodological Problems of Historical Knowledge

The article analyses the biographical experience of the scientific movement as a dialectic of the natural and accidental Formedin the 1970s, the scientific tandem of A.P. Pronstein and A.V. Lubsky was realised in a series of publications in which an original system of methodology of history was developed. On the one hand, the aim of the work is to reveal the essence of the proposed theoretical model as a result, the influence of the scientific context of the 1970s, on the other hand, of individual author's reflection on research practice. The importance of methodological studies is shown both for the authors themselves and
for the actual epistemological situation. The analysed texts of the tandem of the researchers show the desire to raise the status of the methodology of history as a scientifi c discipline with its subject of research. The features of the methodological system of history developed by them are multilevel, the structural significance of subject knowledge, taking into account the experience of a practicing researcher. A consistent review of the works allows us to conclude about the regular and consistent publication appearance nature, each of which is devoted to a separate methodological system level. Thus, the methodological level of source studies as a derivative of the methodology of history was justified. And on the example of mass sources, the level of methodology of source research is revealed. The termination of the joint work of the two researchers can be explained both by the creation of an integral model of the methodology of history, and by the unfavorable scientifi c context of the early 1980s. The joint experience proved to be in demand in the subsequent works of the authors, in particular, during creating the theory of alternative models of historical research by A.V. Lubsky.
